Do your users of a language, prefer to write phonetically in a different alphabet?

Transliteration

Sometimes, users like to use one alphabet, to write the sounds of another language, but without the usage of the native alphabet. An example of this would be pinyin for Chinese. Here is an example of using pinyin, translating it to English, with and without transliteration:

To set or change transliterate, set it to 0 for OFF, and 1 for ON:
